Supplier verification is a review of specific business claims, supported by evidence. It gives buyers more information when deciding whom to contact and what to ask before purchasing.
An active paid directory listing is required for a banner spot. Paying for a listing or banner does not purchase verification, bypass review, or guarantee a favorable decision. Submitting this application does not activate a listing or banner.
Who can apply?
Inventory owners, brokers, auctioneers, and marketplaces may apply. Disclose your actual role. A broker may operate legitimately; buyers need to understand who owns the stock, collects payment, fulfills the order, and resolves problems.
What to prepare
- Legal and trading names, registration details where applicable, business address, ownership history, and an accountable contact.
- Warehouse or fulfillment details and your inspection or walkthrough options.
- Merchandise descriptions, condition and testing standards, photo practices, and manifest limitations.
- Payment-recipient name, payment terms, shipping responsibilities, and written claims and dispute policies.
- Two recent trade references who have agreed to be contacted. New businesses should explain missing references and offer alternative evidence.
- Availability of redacted sample invoices, manifests, terms, and ownership or broker authorization evidence for follow-up.
How review works
- Apply: submit the private form. Submission means “received,” not “verified.”
- Clarify: a reviewer may contact you and request evidence or a walkthrough. We do not promise a fixed completion time.
- Check: reviewers compare supplied details with appropriate independent records, contact information, and consenting references. A photo or submitted document alone does not establish a claim.
- Record a decision: the reviewer records what was checked, the evidence, limitations, and date. Missing or inconsistent evidence can leave an application incomplete or result in a decline.
Keep your information current
Report changes in ownership, trading name, payment recipient, or fulfillment arrangements. Reviews may need updating after material changes or credible complaints. We aim to revisit records annually; buyers should always look at the actual check date.
Public verification language should identify the particular check and date. It must not imply insurance, accreditation, guaranteed inventory, or guaranteed profit. No badge is issued automatically by this application.
